Licence terms
These terms cover the AX apps and the AX Receiver. By installing or using them, you agree to them.
Last updated August 2026.
What you may do
AX Mouse & Keyboard and the AX Receiver are free to install and use, on as many devices as you own or control, for personal or business purposes. No account, no registration, and no payment is required to use the features described on this site.
This is a licence to use the software, not a sale of it. We keep ownership of the software itself.
What you may not do
Please do not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the software, or present it as your own. Please do not remove the notices that identify who made it.
Please do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where law expressly gives you that right regardless of this agreement.
What the software does with your data
The receiver talks to your phone over your own network. Your keystrokes, pointer movement, files and clipboard text pass directly between your devices and are encrypted in transit. They do not pass through us and we do not store them.
The only time the app contacts our servers is when you press Check for updates, which asks a file on our site what the current version is. It does not run at launch and it does not run on a timer.
Software made by other people
The apps include open-source components, each under its own licence. Those licences are listed in the notices that ship with the app — in the receiver, under About, then Licenses — and they govern those components rather than these terms.
Updates
We may release new versions with changes, additions or removals. Installing an update is your choice; the software does not install one on its own.
No warranty
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will work with every device or configuration.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits or business interruption, arising out of your use of the software.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above, so they may not apply to you, and you may have rights under consumer law that these terms do not affect.
Ending this licence
This licence continues until it ends. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the software. It ends automatically if you breach these terms, and you should then stop using and uninstall the software.
Privacy
What we collect, and what we do not, is set out in the privacy policy.
